pc cillin vista uninstall

I installed PC-Cillin for Vista but it doesn't work. I tried to uninstall it but gave me an 1317 error... I couldn't uninstall it Pay attention to it !!!
Anybody knows something about imaging prgs. (like Ghost) Anyone working ? -- N.

I am also stuck ... error 1317, wont uninstall.

My vista compatible version of pc-cillin blue screened near end of the install, now wont run, wont reinstall (errors as it says existing version and crashes) and isnt listed in programs to uninstall it. Guess now I get to trawl the registry and startup programs etc manually removing it - Aint trying that again, I signed up to eTrust Antivirus instead, they also have released a vista version thats free for a while

I'm not sure if it's supported in Vista but try this program: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290301
It'll uninstall anything for you even if it is not installed properly (doesn't run off the add/remove panel, I think it runs off what's actually recently gone through the Windows Installer). I've used it before for a game that screwed up when installing and it uninstalled all the registry keys etc. for it perfectly.

I have an ASUS Motherboard P4B533-E with a version of PC-Cillin (2002....) I works as a charm:-) So if you have a cd-rom from Asus, you could be lucky.
